It
is already clear that the Valencia Open 500 will be one of the most
spectacular tournaments in the world and one of the sporting events
of the year. In fact, during the days of competition a lot of people
are expected to come to the Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias
to see some of the finest racquets of the ATP tour in action (Andy
Murray, Andy Roddick, Juan Carlos Ferrero, David Ferrer
).
This may be the first edition of the Valencia Open 500 but it promises
plenty and is a tournament open to everybody.
The
organisers want the tournament to be accessible to the general public
and to make them feel part of the action. So, entry to the Fun Park
will be free, with tickets only being required to get into the courts
to see the matches. So, tennis fans will not have to pay a thing
for the chance to stroll around the catering and commercial zones,
