The 33rd Americas Cup returns to Valencia!

Alinghi have officially announced on the Americas Cup website, that the 33rd Americas Cup will be held in Valencia on the 8th of February. It will be a best of 3 races against BMW Oracle in catamarans. Races will be held on the 8th, 10th and 12th of February in the waters of Valencia.

Following a long and tedius battle in the courts, the Americas Cup is finally scheduled with a date, back on the water! Something that everyone has been waiting for.

Having won the 32nd America’s Cup in 2007 in Valencia with its yacht racing team Alinghi, the SNG is granted the right to choose the venue for the next America’s Cup which is scheduled to start on 8 February 2010.
